Default Baffled by the preflop here...

It's limped to me and I raise 6xBB with AJo. I get one caller followed by an all-in followd by another caller. I've seen enough resistance and fold. Now it is your turn to play guess the hands.

I would look down and realize I have AJ and fold and not worry about what the other people have because most of the time Im going to be dominated. I personally dont like the big raise [unless thats the standard raise] with AJo, I typically limp/fold that hand unless folded to me in LP. A limp wouldnt be bad here, but if you raise and are called or call a raise you are very likely dominated by AQ or AK.

your fold is fine here, but I would expect to see anything from the short stack here.

In circumspect I'm not really that baffled. It is fairly common place to have an opponent sit down with less than 1/5 a stack and push the first hand or two. At least there was a pp in the bunch:
    FLOP [board cards AH,2S,KC ]
    zimmerlyct checks, BaxterP checks.

    TURN [board cards AH,2S,KC,6D ]
    zimmerlyct checks, BaxterP checks.

    RIVER [board cards AH,2S,KC,6D,4D ]
    zimmerlyct checks, BaxterP checks.

    SHOWDOWN
    zimmerlyct shows [ 8D,8H ]
    Rocco999 mucks cards [ 5H,9H ]
    BaxterP mucks cards [ 9S,10S ]
    zimmerlyct wins $14.65.

Not too surprising. I routinely call all ins from stacks that short with AT+ or 77+. They very seldom have you dominated. BaxterP limped and then called an all in from a short stack - he could be ahead of you, but odds are good that he doesn't have AK, or QQ+. A medium pair or something like AJ/AQ seems right. zimmer called your raise from the big blind, meaning he probably has a pocket pair or is just a loose/passive type, and then bears that out by calling the all-in as well. I'd give him basically the same range as BaxterP.

I think a fold here is fine, although a call would be fine too, frankly. Even though conventional poker wisdom says that you don't get involved in these kinds of pots with weak hands like AJ, in fact, the pot odds are very good here and odds are that none of these players has a great hand. The short stack could have just about anything, and the other two players probably know that & that's why they're calling, which means their range is wide too.

Relevant example from today - I was playing 25 NL 6-max and raised with AcQc. A short stack re-raised me a dollar. Another player, also short, pushed all in for one more dollar. I called both raises, but the re-raiser jammed all in as well for like $6 more. In a solid game I would fold this, but against these guys with their micro-stacks, I called. The re-raiser had AJo, the other guy had 79s, and I won the pot with ace high, queen kicker.
