Default Did I play this too safe?

I was afraid of the A,plus the amount of poeple in the pot, I was sure someone had the ace and was trying to trap.

representing the A on that flop is not a bad play.

Bet 150 ish, if someone calls or reraises then you can go drop it or go into check/fold mode.

Remember this is early in a fish fest. Someone having an A is reasonable, but it's also very possible that they all have hands like K8s.

I would limp TT pre flop here, and hope to flop a set or overpair.
I would probably check the flop, and bet the turn.

As you raised pre-flop, you should bet the flop as chard suggests.

    you and drmcboy play similarly.

I think TT is way too good of a hand to play it like a low pocket pair.

Given this is early in a fishfest, I would've raised much more preflop (anywhere from 100-150).... and in fact depending on how fishy, I might have just pushed there (you might be surprised how many guys with hands like A8s will call).

i agree with char that you shouldnt be playing TT like a low PP. but I personally wouldnt lead that flop in a 4 way pot, its more important to conserve chips. people love checking their aces too

This was exactly what I was thinking during the hand, then I felt my hand was best on the turn when it was checked to me, I should of reraised the river.

I agree EXCEPT that the blinds are so low. And TT is crushed by overcards on the flop, and we KNOW how those fishies like to play paint.

If you raise enough to isolate, then TT is very good... but not so easy to play after the flop vs. unknown caller.

I think with blinds even 25/50 I would raise it up. But at 10/20 I am in pure implied odds mode. Note also the EP limper.
