Default KQ 3-handed, fold, push or stop n go? ($11)

Button was a pretty solid player who had turned very aggressive shorthanded (30% preflop raise at 75/150 blinds and above). SB was a total calling station (VPIP 53%, PFR 2%) who had called preflop raises with absolute junk. I felt I had limited or no fold equity preflop given the button was the big stack and SB was such a calling station.

Is this a bad place for the stop 'n' go? If they had both been tight players I would almost certainly have tried to find a better spot.

Stop and goes kinda suck with 2 people in the pot.

I'd prolly fold this, but if you think you're good here reraise AI preflop, I'd rather try and cut it down to only one person rather than to make two people fold with a stop and go.

    yeah, I think I shove pre-flop.

Problem here is that you are not first to act on the flop. If SB leads out, you are in a bit of a bind having committed nearly half your stack pre-flop.

I either push or fold preflop. But as you say, you probably will be called. This is a tough spot given your stack size, but if you want to gambol, push here. The big stack raised 4x bb.. to me this is saying "I'm raising enough to committ myself so go ahead and push." I think I may lead towards folding here..

If the SB hadn't called I wouldn't mind shoving my KQ as much preflop against the big stack, rather than having KQ v 2 people.

OK, thanks for the replies. Opp (big stack) called me with A7o and won with ace high, nh gg. The question is, if you were in the button's place, would you have called with A7? Would you have sensed that I missed the flop from the way I played?

    yep..

If your willing to call off that much of your stack, just push,
But I'd fold here instead of going 3 way.

Post flop you won't have enough chips to push hardly anyone off of any type of hand.

he's getting 3.5:1 to call the flop, he has a big stack, and has a hand he likes.

alot of things working against your hand here.
