    Default Titan Poker

Does anybody out there play on Titan Poker? If so, how is it? I am thinking from changing over to them from Paradise.

I like Titan Poker. The hand history is cool. And I like how the player notes are still there if you play from a different location/computer. Sometimes there are many week players, sometimes not. When you first join, a rep will come on line and will offer you a free $10 for a $20 initial deposit. This is fine, but it negates any further initial bonus offers. The standard bonus is not really worth it in the long run IMO, I make more from week players than the bonus could possibly get me. After a while I cashed out there, and 3 months later they offered me $15 to come back and play again, so I plopped $125 back in and instantly got the $15 bonus. So now I play there again a little, but mainly I play on PS. No bonuses, just straight up NLHE. Wherever you go, try to play tight on loose tables. That's my take anyway.

I deposited there and did their 20% up to $100 signup bonus. I didnt really like the software, and their bonus was going to clear rediculously slow, so I just said f888 it and withdrew my money after 2 days.

    My take, anyway..

I deposited there and wasnt too impressed. The SNGs take forever to fill up and that is what I play so it just wasnt worth it to me. However, the field is incredibly soft, and I made it ITM in the 3 SNGs I did play, winning 2.

I signed up there for the free poker tracker offer. (search the forums its in there somewhere)
In addition, I received $20 on the spot for making a deposit within 30 minutes alongside a 50% match up to $200. Right when I logged on some worker talked to me via the chat system and offered this.
So, I deposited $200, received 20 on the spot, and have to clear my $100 bonus by earning a zillion points. The 20 bucks was nice, but this bonus will take a long time to clear, even playing like 4 tables.
The bigger bonus i noticed was how weak the competition was. I've almost doubled up already and I only have like 10% of the points needed to clear my 50% match bonus.
On the negative side, there are less people playing at titan than say Party so it is hard to, for example, play 5 tables of NL20 or NL 50 at the same time.
Just play the cards and youll do fine on titan. (as in play tight/aggressive)

Yeah, I signed up on TItan for the Poker Tracker deal (www.pokerlizard.com).

The problem with the bonus is that it clears really slowly at low limits. It's an iPoker site and they all seem to have similar points systems (e.g. $0.25 rake gives 1 point) which means you need to be seeing $5 pots to get your points.

I played on Noble Poker (also iPoker) and there I had to get 800 points for a bonus and had to play $25NL or even $50NL to clear the bonus fast enough. (Although it's doable at $10NL I think, if you've got the patience).

Other than that I think Titan kinda sucks. I don't get why people like the Hand History thing, completely lacking in important details and no good for long term analysis. (You need PokerOffice to grab the hand histories into a DB. PokerTracker doesn't have support for it, AFAIK).

The interface is too bulky which makes multi-tabling a pain (which makes bonus-clearing a bigger pain).

In terms of play it's not too tough. Lots of players on short stacks clearing bonuses can be a pain, but a chance to make some money too as tight pf play seems to be profitable even up to $50NL as long as one isn't too passive.

I think Titan offers a fairly generous bonus, so it's probably good if you've got a nice sized BR and are playing $50NL and up. Not sure if that apples you.

I have to get 8000 points to clear my bonus...it is definitely rediculous. Even playing NL100 and 50 the points don't add up too quickly. So you have to be committed to the site to get that 50% bonus to clear. The $20 bonus was automatic.
I do agree that the interface is laggy. It doesnt operate very smoothly at like 5+ tables. 4 and lower seems to be fine.
There are a lot of inexperienced people playing the NL50 and 100 to try and clear there bonuses, so that seemed like a plus to me. Except if they were super short stacked and folding everytime. Anyway, Titan is worth a look but nothing special. Get the bonus and leave?

Their bonus is so slow it isn't really worth it IMO, unless you can get rakeback at the same time. CD poker's (same network/players) bonus works off slightly quicker and if you sign up through FTR your can get 30% rakeback at the same time paid straight into your account every week, which is nice.

The players are awfull, but most only buy in fot the minimum limiting the amount you can win from them.
