    Default bluff profitable?

Normally I would give this one up on the flop because I knew I was beat, but the turn and river gave me new opportunities to continue my bluff. Good or foolish? How do you like the betting amounts?

    Downswinging holla!
Eh, fold preflop. I shut down on the turn after he calls me, looks like he has A high or a pair, and there's a decent chance he calls with both.

First of all I think that trying to push someone off a likely overpair on a dry board is almost never profitable. Second I disagree that the turn and the river were good bluffing cards. You probably wouldn't call a preflop raise with very many hands that had a deuce or a four in them, and you were representing something different on every street. The story you were telling made no sense and it made for an easy calldown by him.

    Default Rule of thumb...

Mediocre/bad players aren't going to lay down overpairs unless you put their hole stack on the line (and even then they probably won't lay it down). This is a bad board to bluff at, and I would've played it the same way villain did most likely.
    Family Cruise IMO

great line to take if you can beat AA

    I hate preflop though

Flop and turn I'm kinda torn on.

River I hate, you know what he has, and you know he's not folding.

Turn is harmless to Villain. I would like it much better if the turn was the second 4.
