.10/.20 blinds and $20 buy in game 5 handed. Will (my friend) has around $24 Heath has $25. To describe Heath I'd say he's a retarded maniac. He's completely randon, he'll call just for the rush of gambling and bluff really stupidly, it's almost impossible to tell what exactly he has. Anyways Will has JJ in the BB, Heath is on the Button. two folds in front, Heath raises 4xbb, SB folds, Will reraises to $3.50, Heath calls.

The flop comes K98 all spades, Will has the J of spades. Will checks, Heath bets $5, Will calls.
The Turn is a 5 of diamonds. Will checks Heath bets $5 Will calls
The River is a 9 (pairs the board): Will checks, and Heath puts Will all in for $10, the pot is $36 now, Will folds.

Most important comments I want to hear, regardless of the play earlier is if Will should've called the river.

Calling flop and turn and folding river at 3.5:1 odds is too weak against a total maniac. As long as Heath is getting no resistance he will keep pushing and take down these pots.

Most important comments I want to hear, regardless of the play earlier is if Will should've called the river.

The problem is, that Will's play in the early streets make this a very difficult question to answer. The final pot is giving him 3.6 to 1 odds. He would need to win 2 out of 9 times to make this a valid call. I think he probably would win this 2 out 9 times against the player you described, so I think he should call.

But if Will had bet differently on the flop, it would not be as much of a guessing game. Now on the River he is behind any King, any 9, a variety of boats, QQ, AA, any 67 and any 2 spades.

Will called a $5 in a $12 pot and a $10 in a $27 pot without betting in such a way as to determine whether he was ahead or behind. Will needs to work on that problem, not on the problem of whether he should call the river bet.

The key thing is he calls for the hell of it and tries to push people of hands when they are obviously strong so you dont need to slowplay at any point so reraise PF.

Hero looks like hes trying to draw to his flush as though they were outs but Id actually be more worried if the flush came since villain seems more than capable of raising with Ax preflop.

yeah i know he did really bad on all streets. The reason I posted this hand is because he thought he made a good fold on the river, i thought he made a bad one, and my borther thought it was horrible. I'm pretty sure that Heath wouldn't be him 50% of the time, so the odds seem great.
