Default Some tough decisions - 200nl

One of the rare times I don't reraise AK preflop, I probably should have anyhow, but irregardless I'm in a tough spot. The board is pretty dangerous and I think it's a bad spot to c/r. Maybe leading the flop would have been better, but I check-called the flop and now a blank peels on the turn. I check and he makes a nice bet, now what? Villain is 53/12 and not very good, .75 AF although he did get caught bluffing a missed flush draw earlier.

    Hero ($223.20)
    BB ($20.89)
    UTG ($194)
    MP ($208.25)
    Button ($224.02)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, A. Hero posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls $2, 1 fold, Button raises to $9, Hero (poster) calls $8, 1 fold, UTG calls $7.

    Flop: ($29) K, 9, J (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, Button bets $20, Hero calls $20, UTG folds.

    Turn: ($69) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $40, Hero ???

Villain in this hand is a decent player, 25/20 ish and seems to be riding my balls in every pot, but that could be my imagination kicking in. It's hard to believe he is floating in a multiway pot but who knows, board isn't very draw heavy but 67 did get there on the turn. Should I have lead the turn? As played what do I do on the turn?

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, Q. SB posts a blind of $1.
Hero raises to $7, MP calls $7, 2 folds, SB (poster) calls $6, 1 fold.

    Flop: ($23) Q, 5, 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $18, MP calls $18, SB folds.

    Turn: ($59) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $44.99, Hero ???

Villain in this hand is 24/18 and pretty aggressive, he has floated on a few people before this but I'm not sure how far he is willing to take it and if he would fire the river with air or not.

Hand 1: I like playing your hand passive here, because raising/leading the turn will probably fold out weaker hands. Call, bet a diamond river, and dependant on the board I might checkcall a reasonable river bet if a diamond doesnt hit.

Hand 2: I've no experience against good TAG floaters, but if I were in your shoes, I would fold without a better read. This is truly why playing OOP sucks, especially with TP-like hands. Meh!

    1) Call him down is your only real option here. I would say push but I don't see him folding AA anyway and maybe KQ he would fold.

    2) I call and block bet the river.

    3) Call, he has TT/88.

Hand 1, I'd call. Most people don't have the balls to 3 barrell bluff, so if he pushes river, you can probably fold. You could also block the river. Leading this flop is also a good option. When he got caught bluffing, was it a triple barrell bluff?

Hand 2, you say he "seems to be riding my balls in every pot". It sounds like he has been floating you a lot. No way in hell I am folding here, especially if I check that turn. I'd probably call and c/c river, or just stick it in on the turn.

Hand 3, I'd fold the river. The only draw JT got there, so he either has you crushed or total air. KQQ flop is not a very good flop to float on, so he probably has a real hand here. If he is v aggro, I don't mind a flop check here. How often have you been raising his BB from the SB, and how actively has he been defending his BB to SB and Button/CO raises?

No wonder these guys float on you ... everytime you get a flop bet called, you check the turn and agonize...

If you use this same line when you hit the flop you'll get your one pair hands paid off huge against players who float with underpairs/etc.

In general it seems like you're trying to get cheap showdowns which IMO isn't a good strategy in NL 200 6Max. It can obviously suck in some cases, but at some point you have to ask yourself 'Do I have the best hand right now?' And if you do, stop check/calling and play the hand agressively. If you run into a monster, so be it. You'll drop a few buy-ins maybe, but your image will be a lot better and you won't get these floaters that will steal your pots on the turn with air.

Hand 1 : Reraise his flop bet to 60 and lead the turn with a 3/4 pot sized bet. You have the best hand here, take control (And as you know, reraise that shiznat PF at 6max).

Hand 2 : Lead the turn and fold to a reraise. If he flat calls, check/call river.

Hand 3 : Lead or checkraise the turn, check calling there is saying 'I'm scared that you have a K' and you're giving him the green light to rep it on the river with that gay bet he threw out. He probably doesn't have a king, but you have no way to know that since you played it passively.

Anyway, I struggle with these same type of hands, which is why i'm so passionate about doing the right thing! I'm trying to convince myself as much as you.

    Good luck!

Hand 1: call, block bet river is nice especially if the FD misses. Reraise pf obv.

    Hand 2: call, c/f river.

Hand 3: fold to river bet. I like c/c the flop.
