I dunno. Well if I bet at this point it has to look to him like my whiffed AK just lucked out or else I really did have an overpair after all.

I'd probably fire a 2nd barrell putting op on mid pp or str8/fkush draw. I'd be weary of the Ax of clubs though.

This is an interesting tendency that I have as well (although I don't always check A-K in this situation), and seems like it could be exploitable.

i like to fire again here most of the time. that is one of the benefits to Cbetting and betting draws like the nut club draw. if you don't use that ace to your advantage, he likely will. one of those 'first to act' situations. people Cbet w/ Ax on a missed flop way too often for you to not try to take advantage of the turn card. if he calls or raises you do'nt have to put more money in, but i think over time you're ahead on the play.
