i don't see a reason to believe you are behind in this hand, unless you are trying to limit how much you're going to lose to the rake due to the split pot.

I wouldve led the turn and folded to a raise, and check/called or check/folded the river depending on what I thought of the player.

Against a station (most $50NL players), I lead every street. I'd lead turn for 2/3 pot, probably.

If you're going to check-call the turn, bet the river.

I've been living on UB's Bet Pot button. Not a bad thing for a LHE guy. Makes life simple..

I like a turn bet if Villain is capable of calling with Kx twice. If not, check turn and value bet river (1/3-1/2 pot).

Depending on op check calling river isn't a bad play. I would 2/3 pot the turn so if you do check call you're not losing as much if op is value betting based on pot size.

What would you do if the flop came QJ6 instead of KJ6?
You would probably bet the same on the flop. You are called, turn is a blank (or actually a 2nd club which is awful fo you if he has AJclubs.).

Now, what do you do on the turn, do you fire 2nd bullets or check/fold? I think you need to play TPTK here the same. If you are really playing for hours agin' the same villians, then you can worry about mixing it up at like 60-40 or something.

Aside from above metagame reaasons, you have to play the player here. If he's aggressive, check/call him down to the river. If he's passive, you have to lead until you are raised.

If you are planning on lead/lead for flop turn, I think you might want to lower your flop bet size a little. There are no draws so even $3 here is fine. Then keep the turn bet size about the same fraction of the pot or bigger, don't go smaller when the draw comes out, smells weak.

As played, potting flop and check/calling turn is OK too.

well i don't put him on a set, but that's just me. i don't think he has KJ or KQ either, but once again, that's just me.

that doesn't leave too many other options. this looks like AK to me.
