lol he is right? Well I guess I can't expect people to understand fold equity in 11's.

Guess it depends on you view. Are you playing to get in the money or to win...?? I play to win every time, so i would also call in his position. Most of the times he will be a small favorite. And if he wins he is in great shape, with a good shot at winning, and almost guarenteed 2nd.

Play for the money, and then play to win.

    This isnt a MTT.

    Q. Is poker Gambling?
    A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

This is a relatively good move against a solid player who understands SNGs, but in the $11's, I would actually tend to fold or call here, and play the hand relatively weak.

Would it be too aggressive to shove from the SB rather than just raise? Sure, you're taking a risk that the BB doesn't wake up with a big hand and knock you out, but the SB is shortstacked and BB isn't calling without a monster given the 2x BB shorty.

If we use a calling range for BB of 66+,ATs+,AJo+ it is +0.6% EV, if we assume TT+,AQs+,AKo it is +1.2%.
