Default Tough decision for my 72o

There is one hand out there that beats me. Does he have it?
Villian is 26/8 but only over 20 hands.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    saw flop|saw showdown

    Hero ($929)
    UTG ($390.50)
    Button ($530.30)
    SB ($582.20)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2, 7. SB posts a blind of $2.
1 fold, Button calls $4, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: ($12) 8, 9, 6 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, Button folds, SB calls $8.

    Turn: ($28) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $18, SB raises to $41, Hero calls $23.

    River: ($110) 2 (2 players)
SB is AI ($530), Hero ???

Call. If he had T7 he would probably try to extract your money in a craftier fashion. He probably hit two pair or a set - maybe even JT. Could also be a split pot. nh.

Yeah, no way he ever has T7 here...

Seriously, this looks like a set.

I've said the same thing at a lot smaller stakes and been very wrong.

Fold. You are getting terrible odds, and hoping for a split at best. He is almost never bluffing here. I think this is T7 the majority of the time.

    Downswinging holla!
Why would a set ever play it like this? As a bluff? What worse hands are calling with a one liner to a straight on the board? This is always T7 or 7x, never anything worse. I would not call such a gross overbet hoping to chop.

You're splitting most the time here I think, but his play is a perfect play for T7 since he knows you have a straight too.

    I'd fold usually.
