Default Add on and rebuy strategy?

I have wondered how do people approach the first hour of a tournament where unlimited rebuys are allowed. Personally I hate re-buys as it seems to cause the entire first hour of the tournament to be garbage. How do you approach that round? Do you play very loose hoping to hit monster hands knowing that you can re-buy? Any advice would be appreciated.

I try to double up once before the add-on. There's lots of people slinging chips around. Pick out a target and wait for a decent hand. And by decent I mean AJs or better. You've gotta gamble a little in rebuys in the first hour just to get some sort of stack going. I typically spend 3 buyins on a rebuy. Initial buyin, one rebuy and then the addon.

If you don't like the "donk" plays the first hour of a rebuy and/or you don't have the bankroll to actually rebuy if you do get stacked that first hour.... the easy answer is just don't play em. There are plenty of Freeze Outs out there that you can play.
As a sidenote - in some rebuy tourneys, the maniac style is starting to become rarer (e.g. I almost never see it anymore at the nightly $30 Dise tourney, whereas before I saw it almost every night).
