I am ok with your line here.

Yes, you could have check-raised the flop, but you had TPTK, an opponent who wanted to have the lead, and although the board is somewhat you are probably ahead here in most cases.

I also agree that villian, most likely wouldn't have folded to a check-raise.

the flop is where you need to make a decision.
    An ace and 2 rags!!!
Villian c/b's so you push over the top.
I dont see the objective in calling.
your 1-on-1, no draws so try take it down now!!!

really dont like the call then push the turn!!!!

Why? Are you worried that the 10 made his hand?

I do agree that a check-raise on the flop could be a better line, but let's say you check, he bets 200, you raise it up to 600 and he calls. What is your line on the turn when the 10 hits?

The ten wouldnt worry me to the point of playing cautiously but its defo more reasonable than hitting 2 pair with the flop.

Honestly I would raise allin on the flop as opposed to raise 600 leaving me with 700 in reserve.
so if i did bet 600 on flop im getting it allin on the turn.

hmm i trying to think why you bet just under half your stack instead of pushing.

MAybe read on villian could be,maybe, is a thinking player and bet of 600 as oppossed to allin seems weak or afraid of putting it allin. villian is donk but can fold weak aces to a push but calls if bet is smaller. im just airing thoughts outloud here not making a solid point.

In real life I would have pushed on a flop check-raise, but was making the point that even with chips behind you still end up with all of your chips in the middle.

The big adavantage a check-push on the flop has is that villian is more likely to lay this down than any other line.

Yeah im with you on getting it in the middle. I dont get your meaning here. You like the push on the flop but it doesnt matter much as chips are gonna go in anyway and more likely to get a call if you bet 600 on flop. then the rest goes in.
yeah its a line alrite besides pushing the flop. might try it in the home games with mates to mix up my play.

I don't understand the line. If you're going to open push the turn, just CR the flop AI. I want to know your reasoning.
