    Hand 1 - maybe I'm weak tight but I limp and play for set value. I don't like playing a bloated pot where I don't know where I stand. 77/88+ I would probably raise.

    Hand 2 - I would stick in your standard opening raise for the $27s (3-4x BB, whatever). Sets you up for a c-bet if you miss.

    I agree with Taipan on hand 2, but hand 1, i like to raise on the CO with 55+.

    My understanding is the more people have folded round to you, the weaker your opening raise requirements can become, I'd raise both those hands

    Yup, standard raise in both cases (4xBB most likely).
