Default How much does Pot ODds dictate your call pre-flop?

Today I was playing a tournament at Full Tilt and I had a stack of about $11.8k. THe blinds are $200/400 and there is a $50 chip ante co the starting pot is $1000. A small stack pushes fo about $1.1k. I would've easily called because it's only 10% of my stack and I had money invested since I was the BB. The player pushed from mid position and got called by the player next to him and the player on the button. I held J2s and I know that the hand is an easy muck with callers BUT I had an odds calculator open at the time and the pot odds vs. the chances of making me making the best hand were even. I decided to fold the hand and the flop comes Q/J/2 teo hearts. I wouldve cracked and a slowplayer's two kings to almost double again. Now, I understand that I may be posting this because the hand flopped two pair and that on average, I won't but how much does the odds dictate a call in tournaments?

I feel like its missed opportunites like this that decide if I'm cashing vs. making a final table. Thanks for any feedback.

if your stack is 25K+ here, maybe? even then meh, I'm still folding here probably.

only call here if you're OK folding TP if you make it.

the nice thing about these spots when sooted is you may get a free card or two if no one hits.

I don't know about anyone else but I have a hard time folding getting 6-1 odds on a pot that is almost half my stack.

This is a classic mistake that someone with a giant hand often makes here: giving the BB odds to call with junk.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
