Of course I would. But I would fold Ax, Ahxh, Kx, Qx, as well as a bunch of other shit that I don't play but some people do.

In an unraised pot why would we expect somebody to bet? How do we react to an ace of hearts on the turn? Or just an ace? Or a heart?

I think we need to lead this flop here and hope to get the money in as soon as we can, this is a scary board even with our hand, we want to protect our hand and get value from it, we do that by betting especially when we dont know if our opponents will bet.

I expect a lot of big money hands to bet this flop when checked to, but call if we fire big to play catch-up. Also, we want the money in now. Finally, if this missed him, giving a free card in a nothing pot isn't a big deal.

what hands are you talking about? AQ? AJ? Too many hands dont fear a big pot here and think about how hard AK is gonna find folding to a c/r on the flop. A 10 and im golden!

If you dont get a lot of money in here with the second nuts then
1. You dont play your hand hard enough
2. Your overall bbs/100 rate could be a whole lot higher.


This hand is exactly like saying you shouldnt play a huge pot with 44 on a 422 board because OMG someone might have 22! (in the case im thinking of they did but hey wtf he flopped teh nuts!)

There should still be places in small and perhasp medium stakes poker where you flop certain second best hands in certain situations and go BUSTO no matter what. This is an example imo.

Why do we c/r AI on the turn? I think that Q on the turn is just ugly as it reduces the likely villain holdings that we beat to AK and KJ. I don't think I like to get my chips in the middle on this board, I'm going into cheap showdown mode.

I hope you made a note that he bets more than the pot size with big hands, I for one am going to go back and add that on him. (Yeah, I saw the hand. Looked like nothing was working out for you on that table :P)

bet/raise the flop then push all in on any turn but a ten. You have only got 50BB and if he does'nt have some kind of hand on that flop you wont get payed off.
