    How's my line here?

Is it also feasible to bet out 1/2 pot on turn and fold to a raise?

    himself fucker.
you could try leading the river for a big bet, usually just betting a large ammount coupled with any sort of scary board can fold out ops at this level.

Would a bet around $40 be sufficient for this?

    Call any raise, right?

I think I like betting the turn a bit more than checking, but overall I think your line is good--you got to showdown with a good but marginal hand as cheaply as possible.

40 is a blocking bet, not a bluffing bet.

And if you bet 40 and get raised, i think you have to let it go.

yah, ive been having a real problem reading stack sizes.

But if he bets 40 and is raised, i definitly think he has to fold with 23 behind. We're pretty sure he's beat. What's gonna raise him here that he's ahead of?

If hero bets 40 and is raised all-in, he'd be getting around 7:1 to call, having already put >3/4 of his stack in the pot. Personally, I'm not folding in that spot with a joker and a Monopoly get of jail free card, let alone a high PP.

Which goes back to why I think check calling the river is the right play.

I think I would bet the turn, and fold if he raises me. If he calls the bet, then I'd check/call the river, unless he made a very large bet or pushed, in which case I'd probably fold.
