Default Put to the test - 3 nailbiters

Villain in this hand is very donkish, in a lot of pots, likes to float and bluff and is just an overall loose cannon. One hand I raised with K8h on the button and he called from the BB, I flopped a flush draw and bet out on the flop+turn, he called both bets and the river completed my flush and he slightly overbet the pot, I shoved and he instafolded. So on to the hand ..

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J, J. SB posts a blind of $1.
Hero raises to $7, MP calls $7, 3 folds.

Hero bets $12, MP calls $12.

    Turn: ($41) 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $20, Hero calls $20.

    River: ($81) A (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $40, Hero ???

Hand 2: No read on this player, he just sat down. What's my line?

Hand 3: Not many hands on this player, he seemed pretty tight, has yet to raise preflop yet, haven't seen much from him postflop though. Anyways, what's the plan when he raises the flop?

either bet the turn in hand 1 or fold. You repped a queen he called so either he has you beat or hes drawing.
Add to that, how often does he expect you to have a queen here anyway?

Hand2 if opp is aggro i c/r here and fold to a push depending on what i think of my opponent. ANother line is check/call lead any blank turn hard and force opp to make a mistake with a worse hand.
I just like to overplay into aggro/semi-bad aggro players because they often make bad decisions or fold. I use these as bluff lines too when i miss at times for mixture.

Imo, id check this in hand3 perhaps even check fold. Just about any turn card kills our action or loses you the pot add to that not many opps are gona think you hit that board apart from an oesd perhaps and are going to raise to protect or call and steal on later streets.
Again i may c/r here and forcemy opponent to push over me to win the pot. A dcent player wont do that unless he has the balls to bluff or really has us smoked.

Hand 1 is tough, and super read dependent. Hard for me to say just reading the HH, but I can see arguments for both calling and folding. Knowing exactly how he played his previous hands would probably tip my decision.

Hand 2, sometimes I push and sometimes I call and look to get it in on the turn. Not having the Ks would probably make we wanna push.

Hand 3, seems like an easy fold if he is as tight as you described. You are a slight favorite at best, plus you are oop. Just let it go.
