Push? Do you think that the 8 helped UTG's hand? He could be betting with all sorts of rubbish here.

    What buy-in is this?

I think that you are up against one or two pair and/or a str8 draw. I would get my chips in on the turn. Pre-flop I would raise 3xbb and add one bb for each limper. So around 250 to 300.

Oh, my bad. $5.50 mtt sit 'n go at PS. I wasn't worried about the 8h on the turn, I figured I was either way behind, or he was betting at me with kq or jq.

Anyways I pushed the turn and he flipped up k10 and I didn't improve.

    See Sprayed's post.

Raise more PF. UTG limped from first position, your standard 3x BB raise and the BB call gave him essentially 4:1 odds to call the extra 100 with his KT. If you raise to 300 with the AK you probably eliminate the BB call as I'm guessing he called for odds, and you give UTG 1.58:1 odds with an active player behind him.

He may have called anyway, but it would have been a boo-boo to do so.

As played you gave JT, KJ and KT near perfect odds to play their hands. Since you don't know exactly where you're at here and you have to eliminate the draw...push the turn.
