seems like you played it fine but kinda had a dry run of cards. Maybe not enough stealing preflop?

Do you feel like you are expanding your knowledge of the game by playing the turbos? Games like this are why I don't like playing turbos. I feel like I have zero edge.

The reason I started playing the turbos was to develop my <10x BB/shorthanded push/fold game since they got to that stage so much faster. It's also nice that you can play twice as many in the same time. Plus at least at PS the rake is lower for the turbos which can really add to your ROI over the long term. Also I've found that the players are in general worse for similar buyins (although the $5.50 normal players are still worse than those at the $6.50 turbos IMO)

That said, I was commenting to a friend that I think the tradeoff is that you don't get as much practice in (a) stealing blinds when they are significant but your stack is >10x BB and (b) post flop play. For this reason I think I'm going to switch back to the normals for a bit.

I've seen debates on 2+2 as to whether there is more variance in the normal games or the turbos, I don't think it's been established either way.

I play turbos because I don't have time to play regular SNGS. They finish in about 20 minutes less (assuming you make top 2)
