    Turn: ($21) 2 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $15, SB calls $15.

    River: ($51) 6 (2 players)
    Hero ???

I re-raised on the flop to see where I was at (possibly re-raise less?) and then led out at the turn as I felt I was still ahead and didn't want to give a free card to the flush draws. Should turn bet have been less/more?

River was a good card if it had of been black, but I had a feeling he was on the draw given the length of time he took to make the call on the turn. I don't think I am beating anything he makes this river push with, but am not sure about the rest of the play.

    [EDIT]
    Bah, convertor screwed up again.

Villan pushed on river for just over $20 as first to act on river.

    shitty.

I don't think you are ahead enough here to put any more into this pot. I check/fold and walk away.

Well played if you folded, I think you're beat here almost all of the time.

You can't check when there's a $20 bet to you.

He's got a 3 or a flush. Get out of there.

I'm also not much for raising AT from mp as well. Also, if you're going to fire a second bullet, I would try to keep pot control in mind a little more. A pair of ten's on that board isn't something you want with a huge pot on the river.

Raise to $3 pre-flop. Flop good. Either bet less on the turn (~$11) or check behind... even though checking gives him a free card, you don't want to play a big pot with this hand. Check river and definitely fold to a push.

You can when that info wasn't in the original post

Nice hand. Keep the pot under control next time unless you have an absolute diamond draw read, and you know he'll pay max to draw to it.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Yeah, I folded the river...wasn't happy about it but knew he was on the draw and I was beat. Would be surprised if he had something like KQ/QJd in the small blind and floated to see if he could hit the flop or muck.

The raise from MP2 was as part of my trying to get VP$IP and PRF rates up with decent holdings, and the table was fairly tight so I knew most wouildn't come along but I'd have extra outs if any did.

Thanks all for the advice though, looks like pot control is still something I need to work on but I didn't feel I could just let him draw out to the flush. Perhaps giving the free card would have cost me less (well of course it would have) but I also thought I might have been able to take it down there.

Something to keep in mind and work on, thanks all
