Comments? I thought maybe he had been on steal. AVG stack in the tourney was 6500 in chips. How would u play it and why.

Hard to say without a read. But i wouldnt risk half my stack reraising with AJ at this part of the tourney.

This plays fine at certain stages of MTTs. Hard to tell what stage you're at exactly.. 200 blinds but how many players left, out of how big a field?

Also if this opp is particularly tight, a 600 bet here often means heshe is committed to calling off the other 2K, so I don't know how much fold equity you've got.

also, his bet looks extremely strong seeing as hes betting about 1/3- to 1/4 of a stack pleading for a call or willing to gamble for his whole stack. If he was on a steal i think he might reraise all in for fold equity....? good post though

    It's very read based.

He's getting good odds off your push with the better hand. It's easy to say that someone is on a steal but what are you basing that on?

AJ is a trap hand for a reason.

This is might thoughts as well. He wanted a call when it was actually correct for him to push. I think he is strong here and beats your AJ.

I don't know why you guys are all saying hs bet look so strong. He 3x'd it. Sure if you were playing and were the CO, you might push on a steal but maybe he doesn't want to commit his whole stack and would be willing to fold to a push. Like I said, this is a situation where you need a read. If he's been stealing a lot, then it's an easy push. If he hasn't opened a pot yet, then it's an easy fold.

Also ignored, don't post the results next time.

    looks standard to me.
