    Default AK

.25/.25 PL Hold em. Table's loose, but no specific read on villain. I've got $50, villain's got $25.

I pick up A K UTG and raise to $1. Villain in LP calls, rest fold.

    Flop: A T 5. I bet $2, villain calls.

Turn: Q. I bet $3, intending to call if raised, but villain just calls.

River: Q. I bet $3, intending to fold to a raise.

Does anybody check the turn? Would anybody fold to a pot-sized turn raise? How's the river play?

Difficult one. If he has an A and no Q you are good, you would even win against a slowplayed two pair on the flop now, so much for the g0od news. You would be beat by a slow played flush or a full house or even a straight (JK, not so likely). I don't think I would call a raise here, even though if I was villain I would think its a great opportunity to bluff because of the scary turn and river...

If he calls you most likely good, if he raises you are most likely beat.

    You beat: AJ, A10,
AQ, two diamonds, Qx, JK beat you
In order to live you have to be ready to die!

He said the table was loose, so he beats a lot more than just those two. I like this block bet. Weaker hands can call, hands that beat you will raise, and you can fold.

i guess that works. you're not getting raised unless you're beat.
