IMO I really dont like your flop play there. From what I could gather the pot on the flop when it gets to you has like ~$10, and you raise it up to $3?? Those are great odds to call with whatever kind of hand they may be drawing with.......

Top pair here on a raggy board is very vulnerable, you got to come close to potting here I believe, and if they hang with you here, they more then likely have something that they like and you could feel more comfortable laying it down........

Well, thats what I think...who knows.

EDIT: Plus that turn bet looks weak to me, I would geuss he is betting his draw here most of the time.

either limp or raise MUCH more preflop...you should be raising to isolate. as played i probably just fold the flop, definitely fold the turn.

good point didnt really pay attention to pot size...i guess i just call and look for trips or 2pair. but i dont really think you are ahead.

You need to raise more, or just don't bother raising at all.

    Thanks for the responses

My thoughts on the hand were. On the Flop I had TPTK but it was only a pair of 9s. I just bet 3$ thinking that if someone has me beat they will re-raise. The reason I thought if someone had me beat they would raise is because of the 2 Hearts on the board. If they have an over Pair, 2 Pair or a Set they should raise to protect it. If nothing else they would want to raise for value. So after I was just called on the Flop I was pretty sure I was in the lead. Unless someone was making a bad Slow Play move with Over Pair, a Set or 2 Pair. I say bad because they would be letting 2 people make a cheap draw to the Flush. Yes I was allowing the cheap draw, but since I just had a pair of 9s. I could easily let it go if another Heart falls.

So I was pretty sure I was in the lead on the Flop. I put atleast 1 opponent on a Flush draw. I was a little worried about someone having bottom 2 pair.

The Q on the Turn made the Str8 a possibility, but Voltage only betting 4$ made me doubt he had it. A Str8 should probably make alot bigger raise. With 2 other people in the hand and a Flush draw on the board. Mr Kopax just called for the same reason I didnt think he made a hand yet.

On the River I make my Set. Mr Kopax checks. I think he missed his Flush. Voltage only raises 8$. If he had a Str8 he should raise more and hope I hit a Set of 9s. I figured that my Set was good, but I was alittle worried about Voltage mis-playing a Str8 or possibly hitting a FH, and he was hoping I would re-raise. Thats why I just called.

Anyway thats my thought on the hand. Does it sound logical? Any comments?

Well, first of all, you did not have a set, you had trips...

Second, there is such a thing as betting small just enough so your opponent(or you in this case...) to call, something to remember.

IMO, you were lucky you were up against some A-grade donks in this hand.

I don't get your logic here. Look, the bottom line is, at this point the other guys in the hand have made the pussiest bets possible and you're sitting on the button with TPTK. If they're on the drawing hands it appears they're on, you're just sweetening the pot for them. Make a real bet and take down the pot, or force them to make hard decisions. Or fold and save your money.

Also, you should have raised the river. I think I would be inclined to push there w/ the two pair/weaker trips hands you beat.
