    Default Overplayed?

I don't have the hand history here since my game history feature is really fucked up at the moment.

Anyways, some background on the hand. It's early in a $1 MTT, many donkeys at my table, and we're in the second level. I've missed a few draws, lost a few chips with JJ to a rivered ace, and I'm down to about 950 in chips if I can remember correctly.

    I'm in the BB with

2 limpers, SB completes, I raise it up to 120. I get 2 callers.

Flop comes out A62 rainbow. Great flop for me I lead out for 300, Button calls, rest fold.

Turn is a 9. (suit is irrelevant). Now the button player has been playing quite loose-passive and I figure if I just shove it might warrant a call from a hand like A8/A7. Those hands are definately within his preflop calling range so anyways I shove. Thoughts?

yes, push. Your raise sounds too small, although you don't say what the blinds were.

This isn't even close BTW. the fact that he had A9 doesn't make the play any worse or better. If you had 3x the stack, you could make a mistake in this hand, here, no.

just push and pray he finds a call with a worse hand or that you can pick the pot up right here. Like drmcboy said with this stack you have to go for it.
