Default AK to a shortstacked UTG push ($16)

UTG had been playing very tight, his stats so far were 3/3 and the only hands he had played were when he was in the BB. Standard push here?

Or an easy fold. If UTG is only playing out of the blinds, I assume you mean he is checking when the pots are limped to him and this is the first hand he's entered voluntarily and he's going all in?

Well, UTG has <8x BB and once the blinds go through him he will have only 6.5x BB. We have to assume that his pushing range is going to open up at some stage. If he is going to play at all there is only one move.

vqc and nogenius, I assume you mean push rather than call.

Understandable, however is this the first hand he has entered when he wasn't in the big blind? I'd be hard pressed to assume his range will open up if he hasn't even entered a pot yet when he didn't have an opportunity to check the BB. I would give credit to an opponent who has spalshed around in a few pots realizing that they have to make a move at some point, but an opponent that hasn't entered a pot I'd be more leary of.

If you win what might very well be a coin flip you move from 3rd to 2nd in chips and if you lose you are crippled.
