    Default Rizen pod casts

For those who don't know who Rizen is.. he won the pokerstars million a bit back, and is a tournament player for who making $10k a week is a slow week. One of my favorite players because of how level-headed he is and how clearly and honestly he explains everything.

Currently he's in the WSOP, and still in the running. Here's his blog:

But even more interesting, he is calling in updates on a podcast.. the reason I made this post is because of the excellent 5th podcast, where he gives a 24 minute rundown of everything that happened at day 2. Inside the mind of a top tournament player, I hope you can all enjoy this:

Uh, when I listen to it.. it is all extremely fuzzy, can't understand a word he is saying...

Weird, it has some static, but I was able to understand everything just fine.

Btw as of the last update - break 2- he has 200k chips, a bit down from 220k he had at break 1. He lost a big pot with AA allin preflop vs AKo, and sucked out with a weaker hand a bit later for a net -$20k.

    Lynch Folds
Eric Lynch calls on the button and goes into the flop with the small and big blinds. The flop comes Jd 9h 6s and all three players check. The turn is the 9s , the small blind checks and the player in the big blind fires out $4,000. Lynch folds and the small blind raises to $9,000 causing the big blind to fold.

    "Rizen" Doubles Up
Eric "Rizen" Lynch raises to $7,500 and is called only by the small blind. The flop comes Kd 10c 4d , the small blind checks, and Lynch bets $10,000. The small blind raises Lynch $30,000 more and Lynch calls. The turn is the 5h and once again the small blind checks. Lynch pumps out $40,000 and the small blind calls. The river is the 3s , the small blind checks, and Lynch goes all-in for his remaining $78,000. The small blind calls and quickly mucks when Lynch shows Ks Kh . Lynch has doubled up to $320,000.
