    Default Check My Line

Mall99 has been running over the table. He's been making huge raises with crazy hands and calling AI's with hands like K7 etc. and was sucking out like a mad man. I was looking to trap this guy on this hand. I checked the flop knowing that he would bet. Was this the wrong train of thought? Should I have played it standard with lead out bet? The UTG raise was not that scary for me since he has been opening with a wide range. I wasn't too worried about BAI1 since this was a low card flop and without a reraise I didn't put him on anything better than my tens. I guess my question is, since we are close to the FT should I risk my tourney life on it?

Looking to trap was a great idea - but you don't want to trap by calling there. If the flop comes with J+ you have no idea where you stand. I would just much rather play TT heads-up then playing it 3 way.

BAI is giving you a great opportunity to squeeze there preflop, so squeeze. Just go all-in peflop.

As played on the flop, yeah the check-raise is the thing to do.

I was thinking about a squeeze play at the time. Good to know that I had the right thought process going. Thanks
