Default I think I'm being pushed around but don't know what to do

He's called a couple of my raises, I've missed totally and he has bet. I think I'm being pushed around but I don't know what to do about it - I might also be wrong! Any thoughts?

PokerStars (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, Q. Hero posts a blind of 75.
2 folds, Hero (poster) raises 250 to 400, BB calls 250.

    Flop: 8, 5, J (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets 300, Hero calls.

    Turn: 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets 300, Hero folds.

    Final Pot:

I should probably have c-bet but he is quite loose. If he is pushing me around could I re-raise the flop? Or call and bet strong on the turn? My post flop game is not so hot sadly

On this particular hand I would just fold to his flop bet because he could have connected. If you want to play back at him either pick a better spot or lead out for 600 on this flop. No c-bet is the problem here.

In this position with a loose/aggressive/fishy player left to act, I maybe call the BB and check/fold the flop if I miss. If your post flop play isn't very good, don't raise with "ok" cards out of position, especially when the person who you are raising into will most likely call with anything.

That makes sense, although I thought that with only 4 of us left my hand qualified as good, but perhaps I'm looking at it wrong?

Yes, your hand value would go up as the number of people left decreases. Your hand was "probably" best at the time. The problem here is that this fishy player will call your raises, he has you covered and you will be out of position after the flop. Not only that he has called your raises and knows that if you check or show weakness, he can take down the pot. All of these things combined have an effect on the value of your hand. Keep it small and look for spots where you can really take some chips from him.

    Wait until he's wrong.

I think the preflop raise is fine. Completing the SB here is not the right play IMO. KQo is well ahead of the average hand.

Personally I would have thrown out a c-bet of 500-600 on the flop and shut down if called. Sucks to burn 1000 chips but this still leaves you with 10x BB and 4-handed you need to make a move sometime.

This is the thing! As I get low on chips I get scared to make big C-bets which although on the surface seems a way of saving chips is probably actually losing me chips I could be winning. I should keep trying to do the right things, until I hit the 10xBB or get a decent stack right?

Ok, so please don't think I am being a dick here, coz I'm not. I only ask because this forum is all about enhancing your decision making skills and capabilities. Therefore, what is your thinking here ..... ??? i.e. what is your plan for the turn and beyond?

No you are quite right to ask. Since he had been knocking me off pots I thought he might be bluffing and would slow down if I called. I might even hit top pair. In the event I didn't hit and he didn't slow down so I did what I probably should have done on the flop and folded.
