Villain has just lost half of his chips in the previous hand. I normally raise all in with AJ or above here, but I wanna hear your opinions.

If you think that you are better than the rest of your table, I think that folding is the better idea. There's no need to risk a 60/40 here when you can pick a better spot to accumulate.

Stupid. AJ sucks even if he is tilting. AK is a clear push AQ is very borderline but I would probably fold.

It's much more important not to lose 700 chips at this stage than it is to win 700 chips.

Well, according to SNGPT this is a +EV call if opp is pushing looser than 33+,A7o+,A4s+,KTs+ and if your read is right that he is on tilt, I would say his range could well be considerably looser than this.

I guess this is the issue - is it worth potentially losing almost half your stack in case MP1 has in fact picked up a big hand, or as Wildbob said, taking a 60/40 or 65/35 even if he's pushing crap like 83o. Still it's hard to argue with SNGPT...

I agree with wild bob. Basically AJ is just not a good hand so I wouldnt risk half my stack early on with it. Second of all yeah MP has lost half his stack but how do you even know he is tilting..isnt it possible he just ran into a good hand? I mean why sacrifica half your chips with AJ..just not worth it IMO

I think Taipan really nailed what I was thinking here.
It IS deffinately not worth risking that many chips to a 60/40 situation this early on.
I would have a hard time folding AQ here though....very hard.
And what if the blinds were at a higher level - say 50/100?

Blinds would have to be 75/150 for this to be an instacall for me I think.

FOLD. You can definately find a better spot (even if he is in fact tilting).
