Converting the hands is appreciated but to really analyze these hands reads are essential, atleast post some stats. There were a few things I noticed that were consistent in the hands:
a. You need to reload preflop and keep your stack topped off
noted--normally i try to reload once it gets to 40.00
b. You are playing too many marginal hands for too may bets in steal situations and this is incredibly exploitable
agreed. I basically raise once its folded to me in pos everytime with connecting or suited cards, it gives me a very lagg image and helps on future hands. normally i'm able to get away very easily on a missed flop
c. You bets suggest you dont think about the pot on later streets because you often make c/rs that leave yourself with a very awkward stack or a regular raise putting in over half your stack. Think ahead.
noted
1) Id prefer to lead into the PFRer, its very likely we are getting a call or a raise in this multiway pot. Id have no problems getting it all in on this flop.
agreed... should i be worried about set over set here or just get it in. btn was 42/5 ultra agressor and co was unknown.
2) Against some players this is an easy push, against others its an easy fold. Why are we making such a small lead at this pot? It might not be bad, but I dont know I think I let him put his cbet in and then we c/r AI. In a blind steal situation I am going to felt this a lot.
I felt that i had the best hand and wanted to look weak so as to induce a bluff or convince villian his hand was good
3) I hate situations like this. Flop is fine, turn Im not sure and I may just call down and let him bluff again. I do like to have a read here though, some people play draws like this and we need to charge him for it, others do this with strong hands and some with absolutely nothing. To maximize our value here we need to know what kind of opponent our villain is.
villian is 52/15 ultra aggr. I think KK, AA, AK reraise more pf the small bet on the flop i took for weakness. once i turned the K i just repped it so if he had JJ/QQ/AA he had to lay it
4) Just fold this hand preflop, if we are calling the reraise we should raise this flop. Stats are really important here so we can put him on a range.
One of the problems i have is that i'm pretty loose on the btn and the whole table knows this, so a reraise doesnt normally mean a monster hand like AK... i was prepared to drop it to a strong bet but the weak bet with the flush on the board made me think i was good
5) I dont like the preflop call but I dont think its absolutely horrible, bet that flop though or atleast raise the turn.
yea was a marginal call.... i think my worst play was reraising the river with trips... i've been stacked with trips several times ... villian flopped boat...lesson learned
6) Why the small reraise? Id make it $8-10ish and bet the flop. What are we trying to accomplish with this c/r? Given stacks why not just push the turn?
yea the reraise was weak, but players a pretty quick to put you on AA with a big reraise at this level. i was thinking i could get CO to put something in... probably a bad idea because if he did and i raised it would scream strength.
7) Reload preflop man. Given stacks I 3bet and open push the turn if its just UTG and I.
agreed
8) Reload preflop. Open fold preflop. Fold to the reraise preflop. As played, wow, nice flopping skills. One note though, you seem to have a big habit of putting in more than half your stack as a raise. What happens if he simply calls your raise, the turn is the same but you have like 1/4 of the pot for a bet? I wouldnt be too worried about a set [if he just called the raise] but on other boards a scare card is going to be a big problem and you cant get away from your hand with so little left.
very lucky flop... looking at it now this is probably spewage... stacks are not deep enough for implied odds i think, this is the type of things i do on the btn normally with better hands (SCs). guess it could have some image value since i play good hands exactly the same, more likely a leak though
9) Given your image Im, not laying down a flopped flush in a raised pot, i guess against some players it wouldnt be hard, but without stats Ill assume average player and call. Stacks make this awkward, your raise is small but I dont mind it. I may simply push against some opponents.
10) Im ditching thsi preflop, playing drawing hands OOP sucks, as played you need to find a raise on that flop. How are you going to play it if a 4th club comes and you get played back at? Again, look at your c/r on the turn, what did it accomplish? It made it no easier to get your stack in and instead left you with a half pot bet on a scary river. With more strength on the flop you could get it in with a c/r or a b3b.
I hate min raises and will not fold my bb to them. I definitely have to work on the way i bet.
Bonus: This hand is pure spewing.
