    I think a less than half-pot bet on the turn is asking for something like this. Villain probably put you on A9 or something and thinks he can get you out, which he did. IMO bet 30-35>cr/cc/cf>bet/fold.

    As played, I'd probably call here, as we're getting better than 3:1 with an overpair on a non too flushy/straighty board. I think we win here at least 25% of the time.

    How does the fact that 5 people saw the flop play into this?

    As for me asking for it, I didn't think this guy was clever enough to really consider the size of my bet.

    Good point, didn't notice the # of callers.

    I do think, though, if you're going to give credence to his flop minraise, you should be looking for a cheap showdown and checking the turn is preferable to sticking a weak bet in that he's likely to push over. And even donks are capable of identifying an OOP <1/2 pot bet as, let say, not overly confident.
