    Default KK yn

    No reads on villian
I think he must have AA but even if he does should i call ?
    Was big raise/fold correct?
I am being totally screwed this last week, i am down 4 byins and KK seems to be the main culprit and i need to go back to basics.

If you are CERTAIN opp has AA, then yes, of course fold - you aren't getting the right price.

This is tricky, but it smells more like AK to me though. AA probably 3-bets smaller in order to get a call.

If opp indeed has AA I probably pay it off, reload and move on.

This could go either way without reads, but for better or for worse I'd probably call.

AA is the only thing you are worried about here. Without a read, his huge over push doesn't want a call. Dissapoint him. He'll flip over AA some of the time, but he'll also flip QQ, AK, A8 (I've seen it) many times also...

Stop playing scared, and put your money in when you are likely to have the best of it. 4 buyins down is trivial. If it is affecting you that much, you probably need to move down in limits.
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

I dont play scared i just want to do the right thing but thanks for your cocern. However i am super cautious and still find it hard to believe i am making money doing something i enjoy and i really should have gone UP in levels as i am way over funded for $50 but only play $100 once a month on will hill for obvious reasons.
However ChrisBCritter i love your reply, it makes a lot of sense and i should have called but that is why i posted. My uncertainty came from a hand a day or two previously but looking at it now the only thing that was related was that AA and KK were invvolved.
He had AA convertor not working

These two are related and make the same mistakes. If all you want is to get involved in 70/30 or better situations, you're killing a lot of value in 60/40 situations.

This is how downswings turn into "omg where'd all my money go?"

if you can reasonably put your opponent on QQ+ then you're 50% vs. his range. most players don't play for stacks pf w/ AK.

lemonade was a popular drink and it still is
When you mention that you are on a 4 buyin downswing at the beginning of the post, it really lends to the fact that you might be playing with scared money. Maybe not scared, but at least letting the variance affect your decision making.

I'm playing stakes just a bit smaller than you but in the last 10k when I've gotten all in preflop with KK, I've seen AA exactly once.

that's good that you've only seen it once, but it doesn't prove anything. are there a lot of players who overvalue hands pf? yes. do you want to wait til they show you that they suck at ai pf decisions? it's up to you. again if you can reasonably put your opponent on QQ+ pf then you're 50% vs. his range so even then it's just personal preference really.
