    Default Too Aggressive?

I have to say that, after reading this board for awhile, I have finally seen the light. I have gotten much more aggressive towards the end of the SNGs I am playing, and my first place finishes have gone up dramatically. (Yay!)

My question is, how aggressive is too aggressive? For example, yesterday there were 6 players left, blinds just turned to 50-100, and I had 750 left on the button. I pushed with T2o, hoping for a fold. I got called by KQs and AQo and lost. Should I have been willing to go around a turn? (This was on Cryptologic, which goes to 100-200 next.)

Was this too aggressive? I usually try to push with a hand with some possibilities (sutied connectors, connectors, or at least an ace or king), but I was hoping for 2 folds. I get to push or fold mode once I have only 7.5x t he BB. Is this too agressive? Or did I just get unlucky? Should I get to push/fold sooner, later, or is 7.5x just about right?

Post a few hand histories where you think you have been too aggressive and the forum will opine!

On the hand you posted, depending on reads on the SB and BB and their stack sizes, the push may have been good. With 750 chips and blinds at 50/100, those 150 chips would look mighty nice in your stack. Unfortunately there are just times when the SB and/or BB have big hands and will call you, that's poker.

I probley do not push there. A lot of players do push there.

I try and play aggresivly, but to me I may push from worse position but with a tigther range of hands.

I think a lot of people push with more concern to position.
