Maybe I'm weak/tight but I think I would tend to check/call this and hope that opp doesn't shove. Against a villain with a high VPIP you could be up against anything - flush, 25, 57, 44, 66, who knows. I think I want a cheap showdown here.

Id bet out something then fold to a reraise.

Bet more on the flop, there are to many people in the hand, with one calling the rest get odds to chase

On the turn your bet is ok, but since you have no idea what he is chasing a lot of cards are scare cards for you.
I think I bet here you have about 1000 behind and you have a 1000 pot. Any bet that you call will cripple you, and I dont think I am folding to a bet here

tough siotuation that comes up often enough. based on reads.

i think TLRs advice suits best. take the initiative. if stacks were deeper then another line may suit.

I'm definitely betting this pot hard on the flop, and not looking for a showdown at all.
Just too many flush and straight draws out there, and given your position and four opps, it is highly likely that someone has
a 5 or any two spades.

check/calling would allow some hands that I beat to bet into me, possibly. A5 or any 5x hand that has been calling me down might try to push me off the hand. if i bet, those hands cant call

i dont mind tossing out a really small blocking bet like say 200-250 and pray that he doesnt come over the top.

im really not enamored wit hthis hand if i get action, although rivered 2 pair is a possibility
