    assuming no reads :

    1- yes

2 - maybe. bombing non-heart turn could make more in long run (since you are hoping button has aa/kk). then again if he can't lay down overpair it's fine.

3 - interesting one. if you think he is calling with a pp and basically saying "prove to me that you have a better one", turn check-raise is sexy. if he's on a draw, checking sux. i think your like is fne though. I'd prob vary between check raise and bomb-lead.

4 - 3 way protection is funner w f draw on board. despite this, a raise that pot-commits UTG+1 might make more in long run since he could conceivable (donkishly) call with more hands that you beat and then be pot commited by the turn.

    5 - love this line

6 - hmmm. value bet will prob get called way more often. in this case I think a smaller bet is more +ev unless villain likes making hero calls and you are trying to rep a busted flush/combo draw. I think he calls a 1/2 ish pot sized bet like 100% here if he doesn t have air so I like it better. I think he folds too many hands to your line unless he is pretty aware. Assuming he has something like ak/kq calling the push is tough. then again, repping busted draw... hmmm. i m torn.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I don't think I'm qualified to give advice on optimal lines at 400NL. But I have a few questions...

    1. Why no PFR?

    2. Why no PF re-raise?

    6. Why no flop raise?

    1. Why no PFR? BECAUSE EARLY POSITION LIMPERS GENERALLY WILL CALL AND THE POT WILL BE HUGE ON A FLOP THAT LIKELY WON'T BE FAVORABLE FOR ME. THERE'S NOTHING THAT WRONG WITH RAISING, BUT I SIMPLY CHOSE AGAINST IT THIS TIME.

    2. Why no PF re-raise? I MISREAD THE SITUATION. FOR SOME REASON, I MISSED THE TWO LIMPERS BEHIND AND I ASSUMED WE'D BE HEADS UP TO THE FLOP. VILLAIN IS A REALLY BAD PLAYER SO I WANTED TO CONCEAL MY HAND.

    6. Why no flop raise? A DONK BET HERE IS VERY SUSPICIOUS AND GENERALLY MEANS STRENGTH, AK AT THE LEAST. I WANTED TO REASSESS WHETHER HE HAD KK/88/TT BEFORE I BLOAT THE POT. BY THE RIVER IT BECAME PAINFULLY OBVIOUS THAT HE HAD AK SO I FIGURED I'D REP A BUSTED DRAW. HE SAID "AK NO GOOD" AND FOLDED.

    1 - Looks good
2 - Why the raise to $150, are you trying to chase out draws??? You don't want to scare off the opponent and thats not a draw heavy flop. I would raise to $100-$110
    3. Looks good
    4. Why the 2x pot raise??? -- not saying its bad just want to know what you are thinking
    5. I like the river, thats something I should do more
    6. Worried about the donk bet?? I would like to hear your thoughts on your line?

its actually a standard pot sized raise, the same for your other question about raise size.

In the QQ hand I agree though, i showed a little too much strength.

    1. how bout 3 bet to 200$ instead of 289.. then just push riv
    2. bet the flop
    3. looks fine, 112$ on the turn looks a bit peculiar, maybe just 100 or 110$ 112$ shows you are thinking a lot about your bet. (unless you were just using the party slider)
    4. i like it
    5. i like to bet my 2 pair hands like this a lot harder on the turn than just a minraise. i minraise when i know i have them, and trying to keep them on the hook. i'd be more inclined to push this than hand 1.
    6. this line is very foreign to me/beyond me. i hate calling down with AA.

    Losing Prop Bets
Hand 1: Only a gutshot straight or quads will hurt you on the turn. Only a set, TP, or an overpair will be following your lead here. Bet much much less or check.

Hand 2: Minraise. Only a set will get it all in here (which is very unlikely as his holdings). A set will also get it all in on the turn if no heart falls. So, worst case scenerio: he has 12 outs. If none fall on the turn, you can do all of the pushing you like.

Hand 3: I don't mind the $112 here at all. Maybe he would have called for $99 instead?

    Hand 4: Pot it.

    Hand 5: Nice.

Hand 6: Good good. I know you are repping diamond diamon here, but I prefer minraising the turn here.

Miff likes to check/raise all in on hand 1 on the river after calling the turn. Im getting paid a lot at 200nl and 400nl playing a hand this strong that way.

    hand3.
I have had to think about how i want to play this type of hand. If we bet turn and opp has say a mid pp he isnt going to call here a lot imo unless weve shown we'll bluff of a stack on missed overs on the right board. Similarlily, our hand is well hidden so checking the turn actually looks like a hand we might represent eg missed overs. Again, i might check/call here if i feel opp has something he might want to showdown or go for the c/r if i feel opp will bet say a flush draw behind once we show weakness with suspected missed overs.

i tend to raise the turn on 6, but ill do it with AQ as well depending on how often i want to steal this pot and how often i want paid by a station.

    1. Juice the pot pre-flop. You don't have to c-bet.
    2. Bet the flop, you're shutting out your action. Give someone else a chance to put on a squeeze.
