    Default Think Fast

I was 5-tabling and almost timed-out when I saw that villain had check-raise pushed.

Villain has been unremarkable so far so he is probably a standard Prima passive nit.

Plz give me % call/fold if you are faced with this situation and have to decide quickly. It's not that tough I don't think... but it just happened and I'm curious :

    - VILLAIN sitting in seat 1 with $244.70
    - HERO sitting in seat 2 with $256.40
    - Dr_Krazy sitting in seat 3 with $152.25
    - MyNutzHurtzAA sitting in seat 4 with $18.00
    - TrickyRock sitting in seat 5 with $38.15 [Dealer]
    - PurPlePills sitting in seat 6 with $200.16

PurPlePills posted the small blind - $1.00
VILLAIN posted the big blind - $2.00
MyNutzHurtAA posted to play - $2.00
** Dealing card to HERO : 10 of Hearts, 7 of Hearts
    HERO raised - $7.00
    Dr_Krazy folded
    MyNutzHurtAA called - $7.00
    TrickyRock folded
    PurPlePills folded
    VILLAIN called - $7.00

** Dealing the flop: 8 of Hearts, 5 of Hearts, 6 of Hearts
    NutHouse checked
    HERO bet - $15.00
    MyNutzHurtAA went all-in - $13.00
    VILLAIN called - $15.00

** Dealing the turn: 8 of Clubs
    VILLAIN checked
    HERO bet - $55.00
    VILLAIN went all-in - $224.70
    HERO... ?

We are basically even stacked. I found this to be a tough decision in the heat of battle because 8-5, 8-7 and 8-6 are unlikely calling hands and wouldn't most sets raise on this uber draw-heavy flop? A8 seemed like a possibility... Maybe flush over flush situation...

I think flush over flush is likely. Why are you raising T7s UTG?

I don't see why a boat would push here, check-raise yes but push no. If they have a higher flush, same line of thinking. Why push you off your hand? Then you have an open-ended str8 flush draw....

    You like variance?
