    Default QQ Calldown

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG ($98.45)
    MP ($14.65)
    CO ($131.50)
    Button ($43.60)
    SB ($103.85)
    Hero ($108.80)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, Q.
UTG calls $1, MP calls $1, CO calls $1, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises to $7, UTG folds, MP folds, CO calls $6, SB folds.

    Flop: ($17) 5, A, A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $5, Hero calls $5.

    Turn: ($27) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $8, Hero calls $8.

    River: ($43) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $15, Hero calls $15.

    Final Pot: $73

Villain was 42/10 or something over not so many hands. This seemed like a classic "if you bet, you fold out worse hands, and build the pot against better ones" type hand. I felt I was getting max out of underpairs/air, and losing the min to Ax/KK. Dunno, thoughts?

    Q. Is poker Gambling?
    A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

you lose to any ace, KK, 77 and any 5.

of the hands you beat, i don't see any of them betting on all three streets like that (would KK or 88-JJ really bet on all streets? why wouldnt they just check behind on the river?).

if you are willing to call $8 and $15 on turn and river, just lead out turn for the same amount ($20 to pot sized bet). usually if you have any chance of winning the hand, it's there.

if he's a regular and you are calling down to see how he plays on an AAx flop when he has position, then fine. good price for that.
In answer to your question... it depends...

If we're gonna spend the same amount of $$, I'd rather spend it by calling the bets of hands that I beat, rather than

    a) forking it over to Ax, KK, etc. or
    b) folding out worse hands

Seems standard though I always seem to lose in this spot. Maybe they know I'm a station.
