Easy shove. You have 6x BB, just get it all-in.

UTG 6 way. I could've waited on my push actually I have everyone to act behind me etc.

This is what someone told me. I sorta see her point being UTG. Whereas 99 aq+ it would be easier. Shed rather push with overs here then 77 is what she said. I can see her reasoning.

That someone else told you wrong then. You cannot wait any longer. If the blinds go through you again you have 1350 and virtually no fold equity. This is +1.1% EV assuming that all opps call you with any pair, any ace, K9+ and any other broadway cards. In fact, there is no calling range that makes this push -EV.

With a hand like 77 it actually gets more +EV the looser they call you as you are more likely to be ahead of their range as they get looser.

According to SNGPT (if you don't have it, get it!) the push range here is 55+,A9o+,A8s+ assuming call range as above. Everything else is -EV.

    6x bb w/huge blinds = easy push

i think u'd be surprised what range of hands u should be pushing at that spot.
    pulling a courtiebee pŏŏl-ĭng ā kôrt-ē-bē (verb phrase):
    1. overvaluing mid pocket pairs
    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway

Generally speaking (for example 1st hand of tourney) 77 UTG is not a great hand.
However as with everything in poker 'it depends'
in your case the main factor to consider is your stack size which is low.
being UTG means blinds will hi you the next hand, and will cost you 25% of your stack.
77 is probably better then the next hand u will see and u need chips desperatly.
At the point you have to push

I'm actually delighted to get 77 here and even more delighted if opps are loose, pushing 77 becomes more +EV the looser they are.

well, yes and no, I would like one caller, getting 3 callers with all sorts of overcards is not good for you

That is EXACTLY why you have to push now versus after the blinds hit. You have enough chips left that you should only get called by someone with a pretty good hand and thus the number of people should be limited to one or two at most. If you run up against a bigger pair then it is just tough luck, however more than likely you will be up against two overcards. At this point of the tourney and with that M I would be happy here.

The other benefit to pushing here is stack sizes. Although your M is low there isn't anyone at the table who has a majorly short stack or a huge stack. None of the other short stacks are low enough to widen their calling ranges against an all-in bet while none of the big stacks are big enough to risk over half of their stacks on speculative calls.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.
