My thoughts...
Boomshakalaka:
No RB depth at all... Tatum Bell could see limited carries so isn't a great #2. But Boom has TONS of WR depth and talent to play with... I don't think LJ gets it down nearly as well this season without the former starting tackles and minus Tony Richardson... but most everyone has him projected #1 so meh. Based on the other teams, I think he could be one of the better teams, if Tatum is serviceable or DeShaun gets broken...
this is a stickup!:
DD isn't even going to play this year, and Gates is a bit early (autodraft I realize). There are some name players here and there, but he's going to need big years from a lot of guys to compete, and I think this team is destined for the can.
hawt&single:
Lots of ?s aroudn this team, as Javon needs to come up big, TO needs to stay out of trouble and Mushin needs someone to give him the rock. Julius Jones could end up losing his startin role at some point to GUY named MARION.. yowsers. Really tough to predict, high variance with these players, but I'll say bad.
Nacho The Luchador:
I think Nacho has one of the better teams overall, taken individually his RBs aren't great (except for Tiki who is money in a PPR league), but with DeShaun Foster, Chris Brown, and Thomas Jones he probably has cast a large enough net to hit on at least one of those gusy. I love Ben Watson in the 9th.. he could be sickly good. One of the top teams int his league.
LimpinAintEZ:
Edge w/ the 5th overall pick I think is just awful. Edge is great, but OLs have a FAR greater influence on RB success than most people realize, and Arizona has one of the worst in the league. Overall he has some talent, but I think that picks 4-10 were all reaches to some extent... Charles Rogers could very easily get cut by tomorrow at 3pm... and Billy Volek as well. Willie Parker in the 3rd is a great pick. Probably top half of the league
Kingant:
My team has problems too... I took Jordan because it's a PPR league and he had 70 (yes, led the league with seventy) last year. If I had to do things all over I probably would've gone with a 2nd RB at either 2 or 3... (i really wanted FWP in the 3rd..) but I think CJ is a monster, and Reggie could out perform Marvin this year. Hasselbeck plays the easiest schedule in the NFL this year for a QB and is VERY consistent; total steal in the 4th round imo. Gore is my #2, which I'd be happier if he were my #3... meh.
I really like Cooley, but didn't really want to take him in the 6th round, Freddy sucks, but I needed a warm body. I went for long shots and breakout potential w/ Venand and Jerious. Antonio Byrant and Wilford make for nice 3rd guy spot fillers behind Wayne and CJ. Prediction? Well, I'm going to pwn, obv.
Eric:
I think Reggie is a reach in the 2nd, it IS PPR, but i just don't think he'll be THAT big of a factor. He'll make a lot of highlight reels though.. and maybe that's important too. Rod Smith was a crazy huge reach, I think, but Bell, Witten and Glenn are solid. Lots or meh-ish WR down the stretch.
Rambling Raiders: (doggz)
My favorite pick on this team are Portis in the 1st, DJax in the 4th, and Wali Lundy in the 8th. I'm not a big fan of S. Moss due to QB concerns in Washington... Portis slipped due to his injury, but I expect him to be fine. Drew Bledsoe and Brooks would worry me, cuz I think Romo could unseat Bledsoe this season and the only TE is Vernon Davis? ew...
JD's Drinkers:
I really think this team sucks... I don't like the Bills at all this year. Maroney is a backup, who actually hurt his knee recently and Gonzo is on the downside of his career and will have to stay inside and block more without Willy Roaf. Big Ben is fine, but 6th round is WAY to wearly... Chad Pennington as a FF QB cracks me up... I'd rather have David Carr.
cardsman's colts:
Reuben Droughns, Deuce McCallister, TJ Duckett... good luck with that. Peyton and Fitz are great, but there is basically nothign else on this team with noting. Sinorice Moss wasn't even a good college player.. talk about over-hyped guy. His agent should win a frickin' trophy for getting that guy drafted on day 1. Not a good team.
blaze:
Picks 1, 2 and 4 are frickin' GREAT!.. Joey Galloway in the 3rd is awful, imo. Antwan Randle El is a complete joke. For me, he is a shitty WR.. who is really only good for gimmick plays. He wasn't even the best passing WR on his team last year.... lol. Heath Miller is a solid pick and I like McNair in the 12th a lot. Good RBs will take you deep in big league, but he's going to need to get lucky with one of those WRs.
Nittany Lions:
Jeremy Shockey 1st round... w00t!! Starting Addai, Benson, or LenDale week 1 is going to be tough on the numbers. In other words.. really bad.
THE NUTS!!!!:
A very decent top of the draft... his RBs aren't great, but they are decent and he does have 3 starters. Tom Brady could throw a lot of TDs, but backing him up with a 7th rounder isn't a great idea... even if Trent is worth it. Not a lot of upside here anywhere... very few guys that are sleepers.. mostly just veterans. I expect a middle to bottom of the pack.
HEELS:
I think HEELS has one of the best teams actually... 2 studs at RB, and Taylor as probably the best 3rd option of anyone. Solid WR value for 4-6 rounds. I like Barber as a sleeper guy... gets Vick late and nabs Schaub. This is very good team.
Feel free to disagree with me... but this is just how I see it.
GL ALL!
