Default Difference between $27 Turbo and $16 Turbo Players

    Hey,

Just wanted to ask what you guys thought the major difference in the $27 and $16 turbos at Pstars was. What parts of my game should I be more in tune with for the jump?

By the way, my bankroll is $1,000. Is that good enough for the $27 Turbos on Pstars?

    Thanks.

Personally I would want 50 buyins for the PS turbos as the variance can be brutal, but if you're comfortable with less and prepared to move back down to the $16s if you run bad then I guess $1K should be OK.

I think you have a good enough bankroll to play it.
If you drop to around $750 move back to the $16.

The $27 are tougher then the $16, more agressive, still the occesional donk, but less then in the $16

There seems to be about 3-4 more donks at the $16 level per tourney than you'd see at the $27. But people playing the $27s aren't badasses by any means so don't be intimidated.

Almost everyone plays an ultra tight early, ultra aggressive late strategy. This is probably a horrible idea, but one thing that I employed with good success when I was playing the $27s, was loosing up during the first two orbits.. and was able to steal a few pots early. With 80% of the field playing uber-tight, this is nice way to pick up a few hundred chips to put you just ahead of those only looking for premium cards. This needs to be down with care and usually is more dependent on the texture of the flop and the play of your opponent. Players at this level CAN lay down TPTK if they are meeting strong resistance. At the $16s, you are more likely to get called down.
