Default Attempting to overcome my nitiness

Player is unknown, apparantly only his 3rd hand at the table with stats of 0/0 after 1 hand. My standard in 3 way pots is to c/f if I miss.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG ($32.77)
    Hero ($49.87)
    CO ($31.25)
    Button ($10.60)
    SB ($121.34)
    BB ($50.05)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, A. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.22, 1 fold, Button calls $2.22, 2 folds, UTG calls $1.72.

    Flop: ($7.41) 6, 5, 5 (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, Button bets $2, UTG folds, Hero raises to $9

It's easier when you just bet the flop.

    lahooozaher,

Please bet this flop even when its 3-way, and then go into c/f mode unless you hit on later streets. As played I think a c/r here is fine, you'll obviously get a fold here often and if you are called you just might have 6 clean outs.

Betting is so much better than check-raising.

lahozaher, being more 'lag' doesn't mean you have to spew postflop

I'm not trying to be lag here, he only had $6 left behind and I thought there was a decent chance I was ahead. I do understand that this is a good board to bet though and I'm not sure why I didn't since even 3 ways I bet low paired boards more often than not.

that wasn't a comment specific to this hand, but to all the threads you've made lately about 'overcoming your nittiness'
