    Fancy play syndrome?

    Here are some reasons:

I figure I'm way ahead or way behind after they both called my flop bet. If I bet, they will both have odds to call anyway unless I bomb the turn. Shorty isn't going anywhere and the guy between knows that.

If the river pairs, I'll get paid off by a flush anyway.

I'm able to call a smaller river bet with my set.

    r8ed,

At least one of your opponents are loose, and there's a good chance that they are both drawing to a straight or a flush. So just bet, if they have a draw the loose guy will call anyway without odds. This is a not WA/WB situation.

If you check the turn, I think you have to fold on the river given that action.

Eww...even in a HU pot I still think a turn check would be really bad.

If you're worried about flop flushes you're playing scared, just pay it off dude. Get the money in.

I really don't like this check... There are times to check the turn and give a free card... this is not one of them. If both opps are typical loose players, they are both drawing. I take the standard line of bombing the flop, bombing the turn, and if the river is clean, going about 1/2 -3/4 pot there. I wouldve bet more on flop as well, many loose opps won't give you credit for hitting this flop, and will assume it's a c-bet, calling you with overcards.

I'm betting the turn. Big hand big pot. The only card i'm worried about is a club here. Bet the turn for value and so that you don't give a free draw
