    Default cbet AK early?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Button (t1500)
    SB (t1500)
    BB (t1500)
    UTG (t1500)
    UTG+1 (t1500)
    MP1 (t1500)
    MP2 (t1500)
    MP3 (t1500)
    FlyingSaucy (t1500)

Preflop: FlyingSaucy is CO with K, A.
    2 folds, MP1 calls t20, 2 folds, FlyingSaucy raises to t80, 2 folds, BB calls t60, MP1 calls t60.

    Flop: (t250) 6, 9, 8 (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 checks, FlyingSaucy bets t220

Good or no good? Too big of a flop bet? Should I just check behind and play it cautious early or bet for the fold equity and keep the preflop momentum?

    Sorry if this seems gotti-esque.

When its checked to you, I would cbet it. I probably make it around 150 though, 3/4 of the pot, (220 seems too high to me) & if called I would check behind on the turn if another blank came.

hmm id probably still bet 175 based on position, checked to me, not a bad flop for missing.

if someone calls i may bet again if its a safe card.

    OOP i would check/fold this

If theres on thing i hate to do in sngs is loosing chips early on with cbets b/c if people suck, which they do in 1s-55s sng( mostly) they call with crap... Perhaps some has Q9 they're not going to fold...So i check here unless they know what they're doing...Call me weaktight but i play AK/AKs like small pairs, hit it or forget it...And that works real good for me... Later on is another story...

I would raise a bit more preflop, 100 to go, but meh.

On the flop, I would also take a stab, I agree with Da GOAT, make your c-bet a bit smaller, say 160-180 rather than 220. That said, I'm not thrilled to c-bet against two opps even though both have checked the flop.

k thanks. I've been reviewing old HH's to look for leaks. I thought this was kind of an unstandard play for me.

Typically, I'm in the "take a cheapish stab at it" boat. I'd do about 150 there.
    I run a training site...
