Even though I won given my stack size could I actually of folded 99 here with the shorties behind me?

Yes I won the flip but risked 1600.

Opinions? Can i fold this preflop?

With the short stack AI, I just call the minreraise and hope to either hit (in which case bet) or check it down with Senzen.

Yeah then what if an over comes do I call or fold.

Do you like a line of folding preflop or limping?

I'm not folding 99 preflop 5-handed, it is a very strong hand. I'm not limping either, I think your raise is fine (I usually make it 400 but meh).

If over(s) comes, fold. If Senzen has any brains (which is not guaranteed), he won't bet unless he has paired one of the overs with the shortstack AI.

i would just call villains reraise instead of 3-betting here. this lets you get off much cheaper when you dont hit the flop. as played, you might as well put villain all in instead of leaving 100 or so behind.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Yeah 1/3 his over hits making it unlikely that it would on flop leaving me in a tough spot if his q or j drops and he pushes because he is first to act.

I don't understand why you would consider folding preflop (hence this thread) and then do a 180 and re-raise a re-raise

Because ive already committed myself with the 99 and its likely that he has overs AK AQ so forth.

I put him all in because I was in position and didnt want to call his all in with an over dropping.

I know it was only $110 and I don't want to be a pedant but you didn't put him AI. He saw the flop first then chucked the last of his chips in. Small difference I admit.

In response to your question, I can't make an argument for folding this pre-flop but if, as you suggest, you want to minimize the number of chips that you're risking then just call his pre-flop raise.

Because if he pushes ill probably be getting 2 to 1 on my money.

But the position you ended up in wouldn't be any different to how it panned out anyway. Sorry, but I don't understand.

Because I elected to raise preflop, thats why I was curious if anyone here would fold.

When he put in another 700 I said ok, ill just see all 5.

I really hate situations like these.
