I checked to the preflop raiser to get a BET , I was gonna raise all in.


Comments. Its hard to put him on AA or KK with about 4 hands left to make this, when he bet river. I put him on AK or maybe Aq. Not 1010.

Well his reraise preflop put him on QQ KK or AA.

I didnt know that. As played can u fold river in fear of trips? I should of known and saving this HH, his story tells of AA or KK.

Your biggest mistake on this hand was not betting the flop. Don't analyze secondary mistakes when your first mistake is what caused it. If your read was that his preflop reraise meant QQ+ and only QQ+, then you are only beaten by AA on the flop and you HAVE to bet into him to protect your hand. Don't slowplay TPTK.

his preflop re-raise could mean anything - for 1 thing he only minraised - I've had people min-raise me the same with AA there as they do with pocket 8's -

I just think you are too busy trying to slowplay here - And no, in a SNG when I have top 2 pair i'm going to go broke there - I can't put him on that big of hand and you can't keep folding top 2 pair on river....

Not betting the flop was pretty bad here for the reasons the others said.

As played, I push the turn when I hit top two pair.
