Default I dont like you, TPGK

In about the last 4 touraments I've played, someone has lots of strength in EVERY hand I'm involved in. I'm sick of making digusting folds with sets and tptk. This is a $20 mtt

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    SB (t1135)
    BB (t2690)
    UTG (t2625)
    UTG+1 (t2150)
    MP1 (t870)

UTG calls t30, 3 folds, MP3 calls t30, Hero calls t30, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks.

    Flop: (t150) 7, K, 5 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets t100, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls t100, MP3 folds.

even though i have position and lead at the flop, its against 5 players. villian has to give me credit for some type of hand even though i have position on everyone. depending on the player, it could be a mid-pp, kx, flush draw, or set. since he led out on the turn i felt like 2-pair and sets were more likely than kx's, flushdraws and low pocket pairs. to me it seemed like a really strong play to be check/calling a pretty strong bet and then leading the turn. i really felt beat on the turn.

only hand i beat that he plays this way is KJ. other hands in the range are 77, 55, AK, KT. i would think a flush draw gives up on the river because its clear i have a king and most people dont fold top pair, especially when its a king. even though its clear i have a king, he's still leading into me. STRONG. but im sick of folding

You're late position and it's been limped around to you, I'd be putting in a standard raise to at least see where I'm at. You'll easily be making the blinds fold pre-flop, and if UTG has the two cards to the straight he's folding there and you win the pot.

you played this hand with no strength at all !!
he may have had nothing and betting because you played it so weak, i know i would !!
WORM: Just like the sayings says, you know?. In the poker game of life, women are the rake. They are the f*ckin' rake.
MIKE: What the f*ck are you talkin' about? What-what saying?
WORM: Well I don't know. There oughtta be one.

certainly you can raise KQ here. If you limp, you played it correctly. I have no problem limping and I would play it same. I would be stunned if you had the best hand here. You play it the way you did so people like Cave give way their chips with nothing.

is there a flush possibility on the turn if not, villain thinks ur trying to steal pot on flop. He then takes control on turn with bet u have to raise or u have no clue whether he slow played a set or hes bluffing.

its a 5 way flop, unless villian is an idiot he should realize theres normally less bluffing in multiway pots and more chances of made hands. theres no way i can know if "villian thinks ur trying to steal pot on flop"

if hes bluffing almost 2/3 of his chips with 30 chips invested preflop, good luck to him

Meh - if you think you are beat on the turn, just fold it there.

If you call that turn, I think you have to call that river.

To me, the donk bet on the turn = semi-bluff. If he picked up 2 pair or better he would more likely check raise you on the turn.

When you just call the turn, it signifies an opportunity to fire again on the river.

    I think I call here.

the 9 a bad card, he can easily have K9 here, even Td9d or something.

I think he expects to get called here, we have played it like KQ/KJ the whole way. Nothing wrong with making him prove it, this is tough second barrel.

$20 MTT you might want to add QQ, JJ, Ax diamonds, AQ, and AJ. I think you might be giving your opponents too much credit here. There are more then the hands mentions above, what if he had ATd, QTd,JTd, and there are alot more donkinsh type hands if he thought you showed weakness, and the last card added the straight possibility. He didn't check raise you on the flop, so I don't think he had a monster like AK that he wanted to protect from 2 pair/flush draw. If I have AK, and I check, and someone comes out betting 100, I want to raise it up to prevent him from hitting a flush or a straight. A set is the only thing I might slow play but with this many people in, and two diamonds on the board, I probably still try can check raise the flop to push more people out.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I don't like the donk bet on the turn here, either. It could be QJ, I suppose... but looks like some wierd play of a set, or turned 2pair.

I think you should either fold or raise the turn... but you are running out of chips.

It seems like there are a lot of possible hands for the villain to be semibluffing here, and I doubt that ten helped him unless he is calling you with KT or T7 on the flop. And like someone said, if he turned 2 pair he will probably go for a check-raise.

For that reason, I like a raise on the turn up to 600-650 maybe. I'd fold to a push, and take a free showdown if possible.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

That's where the hand should have ended for you then. You'll get other chances in the tourney.
