    Default Yet another AA hand, what is opp C-Ring with? ($11)

    Sorry to post another hand similar to my other AA hand. Opp is 49/19 over 37 hands, so loose. Don't assume I'm posting this hand because I lost it!

    My question is - what range of hands do you think opp is C-Ring with on this flop?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero (t1570)
    SB (t2925)
    BB (t2120)
    UTG (t3760)
    MP (t3125)

    Preflop: Hero is Button with A, A.
    UTG calls t50, 1 fold, Hero raises to t200, SB calls t175, 1 fold, UTG calls t150.

    Flop: (t650) 6, 8, 8 (3 players)
    SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets t400, SB raises to t800, UTG folds, Hero raises to t1370

    you seem pot committed here anyway.

    pot is 2420(after your push) and costs 970 to call/push.

    Obviously there are more flush draw combos than trip 8s. though his play closely resembles trips but at this level a flush draw cant be discounted.

    Im betting without any math that it would be profitable to call here/push.

    Putting him on a range isnt a great exercise since it is possible a loose player has any 2 suited face cards or A8 combos.

    So do you think my line here is +EV in the long run? If you think that his play resembles trips can you ever get away from AA here?

    It actually isn't relevant, which is why I didn't post the results. All that matters is what you would do here and why.

    no reason to eliminiate PPs.

    you shouldn't get away here with your stack size.

    I think its proably +EV in the long run with these odds.

    if villian had bet out instead of c/r then there is no way i put him on trips coz its a play i have rarely if ever seen opp with trips do.

    anyway back to the hand. i think your pot committed and ahead of enough ranges to call/push. can you put it through stove against possible ranges? see if odds match up. dont have access in work.

    I answered my own question, even if opp calls 100% of the time (which at a $11 they don't always), this should be fine. Let me know if you think my range is wrong given he cold called my 4x BB PF raise (gee I wish there was an easier way to enter all the sooooted hands he might have):

    Code:
    Board: 6h 8s 8h
    Dead:

            	equity (%)  	win (%)	tie (%)
    Hand  1:	67.9582 %  	67.19% 	00.77%      { AdAs }
    Hand  2:	32.0418 %  	31.27% 	00.77%      { 88+, 66, AhKh, AhQh, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, A8s, Ah7h, A6s, Ah5h, Ah4h, Ah3h, Ah2h, KhQh, KhJh, QhJh, JhTh, 98s, 87s, A8o, A6o }

    tough one, its more than likely to be a flush draw but his reraise is wierd if it is a flush draw. possibly trips but a very tough one to call. id probably call dur to whats in the pot and hope it is a flush draw.

    what did he have? (im kidding lol)

    You played it fine.
    The only hands you are behind are 66 and 8x, and people at the 11 love to slowplay them.
    His most likely holdings is 2 overcards of hearts or mid PP, both of which you are way ahead
