Everyone's right - my image and weak read killed this play. I wasn't in a good state of mind for poker and totally overlooked it.

All I knew was he hadn't played past the flop yet and had folded a lot pre flop...just thought he couldn't call without AK at least, and he didn't have that b/c of pre flop and flop.

Result - he let his time run down, called and showed AK So yea, now I will be more careful with regard to the advice here...and playing with more patience!!!
