A8s in the BB

    Default A8s in the BB

What do you think here. Should I have reraised preflop. Opponent was aggro but not overly so, he was also a fairly active blind stealer.

On the flop, generally I am not a fan of overbet pushing because it doesn't give your opponents the maximum chance of making a mistake but given the connected nature of the board maybe that was the right play here.

I reraise it preflop, and I push the flop, it is such a scary board I want to end the hand right here

re raise pre flop with that read, which makes it an easy push on the flop whether or not he leads into you.

As played, I would check/fold turn, you beat a worse 8 which will (should) fold - and it is very hard for me to give him something like J8 here, unless it's Jc. He would either CR the flop or push over you. bet call says the draw doesn't scare him.

I reraise pre flop & put him all in on the flop since you hit.

As played, the 7 is a bit of a scare card, I would probably check behind, the big raise on a connected board didn't scare him. I would probably fold to a river bet as well, you don't really beat much here.

hmm i think calling pf is too weak. you say he is aggro (even tho not aggro enough) so calling is allowing him a chance to act first on the flop and c/b which he will do. rerasing him but him on the back foot and allows you control of the hand so raise to 1000 total pf. if he pushs you can fold but I DO NOT LIKE BEING MESSED WITH HU OR 3 HANDED SO I WONT LET NOT LOOSE MF STEAL ALL DAY.
Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.
